At cricket Somerset made ’ 222 and 111 (Morton taking seven wickets for 39 runs and Cadman three for one) and beat Derbyshire, 158 and 120 (Young taking four wickets for 11). Yorkshire made 453 (declared) and beat Warwickshire, 123 and 178 (Rhodes taking four wickets for 47 runs). Lancashire, 415 and 275 for eight wickets, declared and drew with Kent, 446 (Hurst IX4, Collins 108) and 151 for four wickets. Northampton, 130 and 380 for six wickets, declared and bent Glamorgan, 131 and 276. BATTING AND BOWLING AVERAGES., : London, June 11. The baiting averages are: Harding 91. Russell 80, Oldroyd 79, Hendren 71, Hobbs GB, Woolley 6G, Makepeace 63, Xearae 62, Mead 61, Stevens 56. - Russell is the first batsman to make 1000 runs, liis total now being 1201. Makepeace has made 1080. Bowling averages are: Rhodes 43 wickets, 9.31 runs per wicket; Brown, 2!) wickets, 10.93: Macauley, 50 wickets, 12.26; Allen, 34 wickets, 13.05; Richmond, 67 wickets. 13.19; Cox, 32 wickets, 13.81 ; J.
