Waitemata, loading at Pacific Coast ports in July for New Zealand ports, including New Plymouth. CORINNA IN PORT. The Corinna, cargo-laden from southern ports, arrived at New Plymouth from Nelson yesterday morning and will sail south again this evening. TREDENHAM THIS MORNING. The liner Tredenham (8435 tons) left Wellington shortly before 11 o’clock yesterday morning, and should berth here about 7.36 or 8 o’clock this morning. She has a New Orleans cargo, consisting of 1800 tons of basic slag, for discharge at this port. DIRECT ENGLISH CAKGO. Messrs. Collett and Co., Ltd., agents for the Commonwealth and Dominion Line, Ltd., advise that another direct loading has been arranged for New Plymouth. One of this line’s steamers, due to leave London about September 20, will make Now Plymouth a port of discharge. This will give importers an opportunity of getting their Christmas goods by direct steamer. KAHIKA ON WEDNESDAY. Latest advice indicates that the Kaliika, which will lift 3000 crates of cheese here for Homreward transhipment to the Suffolk at Wellington, will leave Onehunga at daylight on Tuesday, arriving here early on Wednesday. BADEN POWELL EARLY. The Baden Powell has now come off the slip at Lyttelton, where she had to undergo repairs owing to the buffeting she received in her last trip from New Plymouth to Lyttelton, and was to sail for Wellington and New Plymouth on Friday evening.
