A cable from London reports that Lady Alice ’ Foljambe, second daughter of the Earl of Liverpool, formerly GovernorGeneral of New Zealand, was thrown from her horse and killed at Coin, Gloucestershire. Lady Alice, who was an accomplished horsewoman, was mounting a horse which had not had a side saddle on for some years. It became restive, and at the third plunge she was thrown and. her skull was fractured.
