A REPORTED TREATY. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Cairo, June 5. According to an unconfirmed report the French have concluded a treaty with the Sultan of Nejd (Arabia), whereby the latter will be provided with war material if attacked by Hedjaz, Mesopotamia or Trans-Jordania. The Sultan agrees to oppose in every way the formation of an Arab confederation under Britain’s aegis and to assist France if Syria is attacked.
