KEEPERS OF BEES
THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. The Dominion conference of the Beekeepers’ Association has concluded. The following officers were elected: President. Mr. E. W. Sage (Ohaupo); vice-president, Mr. Bates (Kapon^a); committee, Messrs. Clark (Auckland i Gibb (Southland), Rentoul (Cheviot), and Goodman (Clutha). A resolution was passed suggesting that the department he asked to institute an annual registration of apiaries, give a receipt to a beekeeper, and collect statistics regarding the number of colonies and the production of honey and beeswax.
