Winter always brings its own peculiar troubles. Not the least of these to the housekeeper is the havoc played on the hands by having them in water continually. The cold and wet combine to make them crack. They become hard, red and . sore. We recommend everyone to try Velvet Hand Emollient to make and keep the hands soft and white. Two shillings per bottle, at Friendly Societies’ Dispensary, Devon Street.—Advt.
