DISORDER IN ITALY.

A SERIOUS RISING. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received June 2, 8.40 p.m. Rome, June 1. The Prefect of Bolonga issued an edict forbidding organised movements of Communists and of Fascisti from one province to another. This led to an extraordinary ferment in Bolonga, the Fascisti answering with a general mobilisation order. They are now flocking to the city, and some thirty thousand are bivouacked in the streets, armed with cudgels. Their aim is to expel the Prefect beyond the Romagna. Troops have been dispatched to the scene. Signor Facta has ordered the disarming of the Fascisti. who refuse to give up their arms. They sacked a few of the Socialists’ and Communists’ meeting places. Signor Nittis’ followers are violently attacking the Ministry,. and a political crisis is likely to ensue.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
