WEATHER FORECAST.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The following official weather forecast was isued at 4 p.in. to-day:—“Present indications are for strong and squally east winds, backing by north to west northwards of Kawhia and East Cape, with variable winds wth south-easterlies to south-westerlies ruling elsewhere. Weather cloudy to overcast, with heavy rain probable generally and snow on the higher levels. The barometer has a falling tendency, but is due to rise everywhere after about 24 hours.”
