IMPORTERS PROPOSE CONFERENCE. By -Press Assn. —Copyright. London, May 30. With reference to the New Zealand proposal to pool butter, importers Suggest that a conference be held of all parties to.endeavor to develop the industry and improve matters generally by the selection of the best points in all the existing methods of marketing butter and combining them into a scheme suited to the conditions of New Zealand business. It is pointed out that no compulsory pool exists in connection with Danish or other competitive butters.
