THEFTS BY BOYS.
BUSINESS PREMISES ENTERED. TWELVE CHARGES ADMITTED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. Five youths, whose ages ranged from 17 to 19 years, admitted to the Magistrate to-day twelve charges of breaking and entering and theft from business premises in various parts of the city. Ail the lads did not take part in all the offences. Three were concerned in breaking and entering a house at Piha, on the west coast, from which they took provisions, bedding, etc. The total value of the property stolen was about £5O. Accused were* committed for sentence, publication of their names being prohibited. Three of the boys admitted converting a motor-car to their own use, but not so as to commit theft. The other two admitted a similar charge in reference to another car. Sentence was deferred. All the offences were committed in a short period.
