EVERYBODY’S. MABEL NORMAND IN “MOLLY O” TO-NIGHT. To-night and to-morrow, at Everybody’s, Mabel Normand will star as “Molly O” in Mack Sennett’s second big super film of that title. Picture patrons will not soon forget her appearance as ‘ Micky,” and in the present picture the same producer, star and director have again got together, and as a result “Molly O,” is a picture among thousands. It is a Cinderella story told in a new and delightful vein—a modern version of the most popular - story ever recounted. Molly, the submerged daughter of the wretchedly poor, living in squalor and unhappiness, reaches out her slender arms and life stops its usual, hard, immutable processes to perform the miracle. The girl of the ashes and tears becomes the beauty and belle of the brilliant ball, and captures the heart of Prince Charming. Yet the story is modern and not a fairy tale. It is fraught with probability, humor, tenderness, thrills and pathos. It is, in short, a Mabel Normand story—another “Mickey”! To enable the kiddies to see this splendid feature, the management have arranged to run a special matinee tomorrow afternoon at 3.30, when children will be admitted for sixpence. The night prices are: D.C. 2s, stalls Is 6d. Seats may be reserved at Collier’s.
THE PEOPLE’S. “THE ROAD TO ARCADY.” To-night is the last night of this Selznick photo-drama, starring Virginia Lee. Rarely has the screen given the public a more fascinating and cleaner photoplay. To-morrow’s bill is a double Fox feature starring Peggy Hyland in a Scotch comedy-drama “Faith,” and Johnnie Walker and Edna Murphy m “The Jolt.” Jbe -prices aft .usual.
