THE AUCKLAND SENSATION. SUDDEN IMPULSE OF INSANITYBy Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night, The inquest on Mrs. Thornton andl her four children, victims of the bath tragedy on May 15, concluded to-day. The evidence showed that the home had been a happy one and there was no caiiFe, financial or domestic, for the act. Tie husband stated that the morning after the tragedy he found a note from his wife paying she had to go and she was going to take the children with her. A verdict was returned that,, the tragedy was due to a sudden impulse of insanity.
