WEATHER FORECAST.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington. Last Night. The following official weather forecast was issued at 4 p.m. to-day:—“Present indications are for east to south-east winds, strong to gale, northward of Farewell Spit- and Kaikoura, and moderate to strong west to southwest elsewhere. Weather cold and changeable, and rain probable generally, with snow on the high levels In the south. The barometer is unsteady.”
