VMESTFIELD market. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Bast Night. At Westfield, beef was a good yardtac* prices being about the same as last week. There was a keen demand for prime ex. Extra choice ox to 218 per 1001 b., prime oX 17s to 20s, plain ox 14s to Ids; prime cow and he’fer beef 16s to Mi, *econd quaitty 12s to 16s. Sheep.—A large yarding, and prices stxffar-j ed accordingly. Extra prime wethers to 28*, prime 23s to 265, medium 20s to 235, prime ewes 225, others 16s to l»s. Calves.—An average yarding, prices being easier than last week. Best to £"2 15s, ordinary 35s to 455, others 21* to 80a, ftaat dropped 5s to Bb. Pigs.—A moderate yarding. Prioeo improved about 4s to ss. Choppers £B, hammers £3 15s to £4, porkers £2 5s to £3. Lamia. — A. fair yarding, prices being about the same as last week. Best to 23a 60, good ISs to 21s, others 16s to 18*. COLOMBO TEA SALES. Received May 24, 11.15 pjrt. Colombo, May 23. At the tea sales one and three-quarter million pounds were offered. The selection was of fair quality, the same as laM week. There was a good demand, but bidding waa less general. Quotations: Common broken Pekoe 12%d, medium, brokens 12%d, fine bro kens 13 %d, good comunou leaf 15d to 16<L
