Several matters of public interest, especially in regard to telephonic communication and the metalling of the roads, was stressed by several settlers. Mr. Masters travelled through the Purangi district, and back to Stratford through Kiore. Now, he is in a better position to realise the hardships under which the settlers are laboring on account of the state of the roads.
