BADAK MINE CASE.
THE TRIAL OF ORTON. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received May 21, 5.5 p.m. Melbourne, May 21. The jury found Scarborough Clarke Orton not guilty of conspiracy. The foreman added that the jury were of opinion that accused, though not guilty of conspiracy, was guilty of misrepresentation. Accused was discharged. [A new tria] of Orton for alleged conspiracy in the Badak mine case was commenced on April 21.]
