The Canadian press has broadcasted a manifesto signed by the Premier (Mr. Mackenzie King) and two ex-Premiers, Sir Robert Borden and Mr. Arthur Meighen, appealing for public support for the League of Nations Society. The manifesto stated the League is the only effective available instrument for the world’s peace now ia existence.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
