GOOD SALE AT WANGANUI. KEEN BIDDING PREVAILS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wanganui, List Night. The third Wanganui wool sale was held this evening, when 7500 bales were ofi'ered. There was a good attendance of buyers, representing Bradford, America, the Continent, and Japan. Bidding was keen and distinctly improved prices ruled. Medium crossbred averaged Id to 2d higher, inferior Id to L’/jd, coarse crossbred %d to Id, inferior id to l° w crossbred Id to l>4d, lambs (Southdown) Id increase to 2y 2 d, and medium 2d. The range of prices was: Southdown 15%d to 16d; medium crossbred (44/46), average 7d to B%d. inferior 5d to 6%d; coarse crossbred (40/44), average 6d to 7%d, inferior 4d to low crossbred '36/40), average 5d to 6id, inferior 3d to 4%d, lambs (Southdown), lid to 12d. fine 8d to 9>%d, medium 8d to B§d, seedy 2d to sd; bellies and pieces. good to super 3d to sd, low to medium lid to 3%d; crutehings, medium to good 3d to 4y 2 d, inferior lAd to 2y c d; locks lid to 2Ad.
