A CASE AT MURCHISON. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Nelson, Last Night. At the Murchison Police Court this morning, Thomas Henry Badust was charged ‘‘that on May 14, at Gowan Valley, there was found in his possession an illicit still suited for the purpose of manufacturing whisky.” Inspector Matheson conducted the case, and after Constable Robertson gave evidence he asked for a remand to May 29. Lenart Engleberg Hill offered to be surety for Badust. The Court adjourned the case until the 27th inst., and accused was granted bail of £5OO, and Hill’s bond was also fixed at £5OO.
