ENTERTAINMENTS.

THE PEOPLE’S. i “EXPERIENCE” TO-NIGHT. Everyone must hand the palm to George Fitzmaurice, for he has again given photoplay fans another of those stupendous productions staged as only Fitzmaurice can. Truly is this magnificent spectacle, the creation of a genius, “Experience”, which opens at the People’s to-night, qualified to class as a wonder film. Thousands of people, hundreds of costly gowns, each in themselves worth a fortune, and gorgeous scenery, have all been utilised as the background for the simple little story that is woven around Youth and Love, and the former’s adventure in the big city in search of opportunity. For richness and color and novelty, this production has never been equalled, let alone surpassed. It is the romance of modern youth adventuring ; its hopes, temptations and passions; its failures, triumphs and loves. In hamlet and city, home and pleasure palace, green fields and underworld dives. Running through its fascinating scenes is a simple, tender stort, tugging at the hearts of all who ever have been young. A drama moulded of every breed of human clay—glowing with a soul. The season is limited to two nights, and the box plans are at Collier’s. ■ r EVRYBODY’S. LAST NIGHT OF “THE ROMANCE PROMOTERS.” “The Romance Promoters” is a story full of delightful surprises and twists. It is a Vitagraph production, with Earle Williams, the popular star, taking the role of Todfield King, innocent victim of a plot which foists happiness and fortune upon him. This story furnishes Earle Williams with some of the best opportunities of his career, and all lovers of romance, excitement and adventure are promised a treat. The final screening takes place at. Everybody’s to-night. The change of programme for to-morrow will be headed by Katherine Macdonald in a First National feature, “The Beauty Market”.
