The proposed platform issued by th< executive was considered at length ana amended in several respects. After 8 general discussion on post-primary edu« cation, the meeting proceeded to discuM remits. It was resolved to urge that the syllabuses of work for higher learning cer* tificates and departmental examinations be instituted as soon as possible. It was proposed that for those who have completed a satisfactory course in technical education optional syllabuses may bo submitted by the directors ot the various schools to the Education Department for its approval.
