LADY RHONDDA’S SUIT.

DECREE AGAINST HUSBAND. London, May 1. Viscountess Rhondda, the head of many great business concerns in Britain, and a peeress in her own right, applied to the courts for a decree of restitution of conjugal rights. The application was granted. Lady Rhondda’s husband, whom she married in 1908, is Sir Humphrey Mackworth, baronet, who holds a title created in 1776. He served in the Remount Department during the Great War. Lady Rhondda recently brought an appeal before the House of Lords to secure the right of women to a seat in the assembly.
