The Portuguese cruisei- Republic has sent a wireless message that the two Portuguese airmen who are attempting the trans-Atlantic flight have been picked up by the British steamer City of Paris. They fell into the sea shortly after leaving Fernando do Noronha on Thursday morning. [The last heard of the airmen was that they were at the island of St. Paul, rather more than half-way from Africa to Brazil.]
