FALL OVER CLIFFS
A LADY KILLED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Christchurch, May 13. The dead body of Mrs. Macdonald, wife of Mr. Ronald Macdonald, well known in business and social circles, was found this morning at the foot of the cliffs at Scarborough, Sumner. Everything points to deceased having fallen from the top of the cliffs, which at this point are 400 feet high. Mrs. Macdonald was missed yesterday evening and search made but abandoned owing to darkness and heavy seas. THE INQUIRY. Christchurch, May 13. At the inquest on the death of Mrs. Ronald M. Macdonald, the evidence showed that she had been a sufferer from giddiness, and that it would be a very dangerous thing for her to go near a cliff- The verdiet, was that death was due to severe and extensive injuries caused through accidentally falling down, the cliff.
