New York, May 11President Hillman, of the Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America Union, has announced the formation of a company to operate textile factories and shops in Russia. Sixty thousand dollars have already been appropriated and the company will be capitalised to the extent of a million dollars by the American union. During a recent visit to Russia Mr. Hillman met Lenin, who offered substantial concessions. Mr. Hillman inspected Russian shops and factories, which are able to employ sixty thousand operatives, and which are in good working condition, and are worth ten million gold roubles.
