WEATHER FORECAST.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, 'Last Night. The following official weather forecast was issued at 4 p.m. to-day: “Present indications are for variable winds, with easterlies prevailing, and freshening northwards of New Plymouth and Napier; moderate to strong westerlies to easterlies elsewhere. Unsettled conditions, and rain may be expected shortly in northernmost districts, with increasing haze and cloudiness generally. The barometer has a falling tendency in the north.’’
