4 NORTH TARANAKI CLUB, OPENING MEET TO-DAY, weather on Saturday necesslUte postponement of tte North mraHunt Club's opening meet till t«*-day. throw-off is tuned for 2 o'clock. Mr. Mrs. Sampson have gone to a great deal trouble in preparing for the meet, and hope to see a very large attendance of both town and country members to-day. The country has been nicely spurred, and a good day's sport is assured. A particularly n.ce course has been laid off, which will also afford members a splendid opportunity for •ftrlifyine their horses.
