STATIONS IN BRITAIN. By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright. Received May 5, 5.5 p.m. London, May 4. The Postmaster-General (Mr. F. G. Kelleway), in the House of Commons, Awnouneed that it had been decided to permit the establishment of a limited number of radio telephone broadcasting stations in the country, which would be divided into areas centring upon London, Cardiff, Plymouth, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle. Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Aberdeen. Permits to operate the stations would only be granted to British firms who were bona fide manufacturers of wireless apparatus.— Aua-N-Z Cable Assn.
