WEDDING.

STEVENSON—FLEMING. A wedding of considerable interest was celebrated at the Pungarehu Catholic Church on Wednesday last, when Miss Mary Fleming, eldest daughter of Mr. Thomas Fleming, of Rahotu, was married to Mr. Robert Stevenson, of Pihama. The church was decorated for the occasion with autumn flowers and foliage, and the ceremony was conducted by the Rev. Father Doolaghty. The bride, who was given away by ner father, looked charming in a frock of white georgette over crepe de chine, with bridd veil arranged in a mob cap style, and encircled with a wreath of orange blossoms. The bridesmaid, Miss Maggie Fleming, sister of the bride, wore a dainty frock of blue crepe de chine trimmed with small rosebuds and a pretty black hat. After the ceremony a reception was held at Mr. T Fleming’s residence, at which the usual toasts were honored and the best of wishes expressed for the future happiness of the bride and bridegroom. Later in the day Mr. and Mrs. Stevenson left by car for the South, the bride travelling in a smart navy costume and blue hat, and wearing a handsome squirrel fur. The future home of the bride and bridegroom will be at Pihama.— Times.
