THE PEOPLE’S. FAREWELL TO “THE KID.” TWO SESSIONS TO-DAY. In this issue the management announce the final screenings of the re-cord-breaking success, “The Kid,” for this afternoon and to-night. The afternoon session will start at 3.30, and has been specially arranged to give the kiddies a chance to see the picture at usual matinee prices, viz., sixpence. At the night session “The Kid” will be supported by a Metro five-reel feature, “The Fatal Hour,” with an all-star cast, and the final episode of the popular serial. “The Fatal Sign.” Night prices are DC. 2s, and stalls Is Gd, and prices for the matinee will be Is 6d and Is for adults and sixpence for children. To-morrow night “The Kid” will be screened ’at the Theatre Royal, Waitara. EVERYBODY’S. A FINE BRITISH FILM TO-NIGHT. “John Forrest Finds Himself,” the English feature starring Henry Edwards and a special supporting ’cast, will be screened at Everybody’s for the last time to-night. The story is one of the best that lias come -from any English studio, and has a plot that Is as striking as it is original. It is the story of a man who, after leading a gay life on an unlimited income, suddenly is brought face to face with the realisation that life is a. serious matter. There are several exciting moments in the picture, and the scene in which the hero risks his life in a treacherous stream to save a dog is one that arouses an instinctive admiration. The picture has been well produced and is one that will furnish delightful entertainment for all. Supports include an eight-reel Pollard comedy and two topicals. Admission prices are as usual, viz., Is 6d and Is.
