As from May 1 the business of the New Plymouth Repatriation Department will be transacted at the office of the local representative, Mr. D. le C. Morgan situated in the White Hart buildings, Devon Street. Entries for the theory examinations of the Royal Academy cf Music close at Messrs. Collier and Co.’a to-day. Mr. D. McAUum, sharebroker, advertises in this issue that the Onakaka Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., which is dealing with iron ore, not with ironsand, has still a few contributing shares available. Any man who doesn’t attend your sale wants his head read. That’s how an enthusiastic shopper summed up his feelings when making his purchases at ■the Melbourne’s sale the other day. The management smilingly agreed with him and asked him to pass tbe good news along. “Bet cher life I will,” was the response. “I’l] tell the missus right away.”
