THE COMING CONFERENCE. I The dispute between the PostmasterGeneral and the P. and T. Officers’ Association concerning the proposed affiliation of the association with the Alliance of Labor is at a standstill pending the conference of delegates. The executive of the association has referred the decision to this conference, but is expected to make certain recommendations. The date originally fixed for the •conference was May . 9, but it is reported that the delegates may meet at the end of next week.
