It is reported that recent official experiments for the destruction of the pricklv pear, which covers five million acres of State lands, promise to give effective results. It is also announced that an American cattle man is coming to Australia to start an industry oT converting the pear into cattle feed in a large way on lines already successful in America. —Aus.-N.Z.
