In reference to Hannan’s statement that he will not row a private match against Paddon, as the latter suggested, and will only row if the title is included, the champion says that that ends it. Hannan can have a private match or no race. If he wants the title he will have to go to Australia, and in any case Arnst will have the first race Tor the championship, as his challenge was first in.
