PRINCE IN JAPAN. PICTURESQUE CEREMONY. AN ARMY TRIBUTE. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received April 17, 7 p-m. Tokio, April 15. Rain interfered somewhat with the' festivities yesterday. The Prince of Wales attended services at the Episcopal Church and unveiled a memorial to British war victims buried in Tokio and another to British officers connected with the Embassy who died for King and country. At night, attended by a monster lantern parade, led by Baron Goto (Mayor of Tokio), the Prince was delighted with a novelty drive through a two miles route of swaying light and color and the continuous thunder of banzais, being overwhelmed with gifts from all quarters. To-day he witnessed a march past of a full division of the Imperial Guard, the flower of the army, in service kit in the presence of a brilliant assemblage of members of the Imperial Court and Government diplomatic corps. The Prince of Wales was made an honorary general of the .Japanese army and wore the Japanese uniform of that rank. Subsequently he attended a Good Friday service at the English Church.
