NBW PLYMOUTH v. HAWERA. At Hawera on Friday eight rinks from the New Plymouth and West End Clubs combined competed against representatives of the Park and Hawera Clubs, four rinks being played at each of the respective greens. The visiting rinks, who met the Hawera Club's team, suffered defeat 162—191, while the team which played on the Park greens won 179 136. Rain fell daring the morning. Interrupting play, but the afternoon was more favoraUe.
