A telegram from Chicago .states that floods caused millions of dollars of damage throughout Minnesota. Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and the South-west. There were several days heavy rainfall, and the rivers overflowed. Numerous towns are several feet under water, and four persons have been drowned. Severe snow and sleet storms in the Middle West demoralised the telegraph and railways.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
