NEW SOUTH WALES FIGURES. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Sydney, April 11. The population of New South Wales at the end of 1921 was 2,128,786. of whom 1,084.759 are males, an increase of 36,341. Of the«e 34.600 are due to the excess of births over deaths and 1741 due to the excess of arrivals over departures. - Marriages totalled 18,518. which was 94 per cent, above the average for the previous five years. The total births were 54,634. which was 1.4 per cent, below the average for five years.

Deaths numbered 20.034. which is 10.3 per cent, below the average for the same period.
