FROZEN MEAT CHARGES.
REDUCTION BY PORT OF LONDON By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board has been in communication with the Port of London Authority in an endeavor to obtain a reduction in the charges for froeen produce in London. A cable has now been received by the board that the Port of London Authority has reduced th? charges from April 10 as follows: Management rate, including receiving in store, piling to marks, weighing, delivery ami rent for 28 days reduced from 44s 6d per ton to 42s 9d per ton; rent after 28 days reduced from a maximum of 37s 6d per ton to a maximum of 34s 6d per ton for the first month and 33s per ton for the second and subsequent months.
