MR. JOHN DIGGINS’ LETTER.
(To the Editor.) Sir. —I must say that ‘’Volunteer" is wandering about the argument. What Mr. Diggins lias done for his King and Country in the Great War is best known to himself. I would like to
know what “Volunteer” did himself. I am sure if he put his motto what one has done for their King and Country to many men during the war, he would have taken his coat off a few time’s. Knowing Mr. Diggins as I do, he is a man well above the military age. He has other disabilities which exempted him from military service. Further, he is paying his share of x tha taxation this country has at present to bear through its effort in the late war.—l am, etc., EX-SOLDIER, N.Z.E.F. Kaimata, April 10.
