The Porte’s reply to the Allied proposals says that the Turks are ready to send delegates to negotiate for peace within three weeks. The Porte has agreed to an armistice and suggests that Constantinople is unsuitable for the negotiations, owing to the political situation. It urges the Allies to prevent the transfer of the Greek Army to Thrace after the evacuation of Anatolia.
