AUSTRALIAN LABOR.

NEW ORGANISATION FORMED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn —Copyright. •Sydney, April 10. After the expulsion of Mr. Catts a meeting of members of the Tabor Party, resenting the autocratic rule of the party executive, adopted a basis for the reorganisation of the party and formed a new organisation known as the Majority Labor Party, as the present party had been misrepresented by the minority section which has improperly obtained the control of the MacDonnell House headquarters. MELBOURNE, April 10. Unless the executive of the Labor Party takes counter action Mr. Catts will sit in die House of Representatives as an Independent, thus strengthening the stability of the Government. The Federal Labor members are alarmed at the expulsion, in view of the approaching Federal elections, realising that the policy of the wild men who dominate Labor from within must destroy the original basis of the party.
