Government action does not appear to have caused any surprise among the officials of tji e Post and Telegraph Offi cers* Association who supported the affiliation with the Alliance of The executive of the Alliance will be called together at an early date and the whole position Will then be discussed. There seems to be no likelihood that the association will agree not to affiliate, and the next steps by the association and by the Government will be awaited with great interest.
