MESSENGER.—At his residence, Octavius Place, New Plymouth, on April 8, William Bazire Messenger, late LieutenantColonel of the New Zealand Militia; aged 88. AUSTIN.—On April 8. 1922, at New Plymouth Hospital, Fredrick, the dearly beloved husband of Phoebe Louisa. Austin; aged 73 years.
