A novel attraction, as far as New Plymouth js concerned, will be the sub [marine explosion during high water off Kawaroa Park on Easter Monday. The tide will be full at about 2.45 p.m., and signals will be arranged so that the vast crowd, which will be at the Park on that day, can have ample warning when to look seaward for the effects of the ; explosion. The arrangements for the display are in the hands of a former member of the mine-laying corps of the Engineers’ Battalion, N.Z.E.F. The particulars of the signals will be notified later, and also will be posted conspicuously on the grounds. Booth Ploughs have all the good points of the best Colonial patterns; also a few exclusive features of their own, the 1922 model being the best yet. Prices are as low as the lowest. Substantial reductions in other lines, too. (Send for latest price list, etc. —Booth. Macdonald and Co., Ltd., New Plymouth [branch. 'Phone 509,
