SALE OF TROTTING HORSES. MR. J. R. CORRIGAN'S WELLKNOWN STUD. Mr. J. R. Corrigan has for many years past been prominently associated with trotting in the Dominion, and by always obtaining the best available blood has built up easily one of the best and largest trotting studs in the country. This year his name stands easily at the head of winning owners. It is no surprise, therefore, to learn that his intention to hold a. great disposal sale at Hawera on Saturday next has attracted a good deal of attention from sporting enthusiasts, and indications point to a very large attendance. It is seldom such an opportunity of securing good trotters is offered, and especially under the conditions that “no reasonable offer will be refused.” In all, about 50 lots will be submitted. including 12 horses in work, among them being Overrate, Meritorious, Ivy Audubon, Rose Bingen, Aranui, Mat Patch, Queen Chimes, and Roi Alto. Eleven brood mares and foals, including Ivy Dean. Rose Elect. May Flower. Lady Haldane, Lady Clare, eight three •and four-vear-olds educated and in <work, six two-yearolds, seven yearlings, •and the young sire St. Kevin. The sale will be conducted by the Fanners* Co-op. Organisation Society.
