-A PEEPING TOMBy Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, March 31. On charges of common assault of women Maurice Tangney was to-day sentenced in the Magistrate’s Oourt to six months’ imprisonment. Tangney was in the habit of approaching women in the streets and making hiself objectionable, bumping them and breathing) on them. He was described by the police as a menace to society and "a peep* ing Tom.”
