ENGLAND TO AUSTRALIA. POWERFUL GROUP OPERATING By Telegraph.-'Press Assn.—Copyright. Received. March 31, 8.55 p.m. London, March 30. The promoters of the airship scheme include the Vickers and the Shell Oil group. The company asks for an. annua] subsidy of £91,000 from the British Government, and. £40,000 each from India and Australia until it is able to pay a dividend unsupported. It proposes out of a eaptal of four millions spending £3,400,000 on new airships and hopes to establish a bi-weekly servici with India, with weekly extension to Australia.
