He had raised himself on one knee when, just as five wag counted, Jones obviously lost his head, advanced and just flicked Lloyd on the arm. Referee Palmer, who was in the ring, might have stopped Jones’ advance, as he had done when Lloyd was down before. Immediately lie gave the fight to Lloyd.

Jones, before leaving the ring, expressed a desire to meet Lloyd again. [No other details of' this fight have come to hand.]
