The British Trade Corporation recommends the writing down of its capital by a million, also the creation of a million sterling 6 per cent, tax free ‘ A shares. The position is due to the locking up of funds in connection with various trading concerns. The rapid fall of foreign exchanges has made good men weak, and moderately good men are unable to meet their obligations at present.
